The plenum helps match the ductwork to the collector’s inlet and supports flexible installation (such as wall, ceiling, or floor‑mount) when direct mounting isn’t desired. Once air enters through the plenum, it continues through the 1400’s internal filtration stages, ensuring efficient mist and particulate removal.
