MistBuster 500 Mist Collector – 240V – White (1 ESP Cell)
Part# 00485-W
Contaminated air from the MistBuster 500 is drawn into the unit, where high-voltage ionizer wires charge the airborne oil droplets and mist particles. These charged particles are then attracted to and captured on oppositely charged collector plates, effectively removing them from the air.

MistBuster 500 (WHITE) 240V Electrostatic Mist Collector (1 Cell Unit) [Specifications: 50-500 cfm / Cabinet Dimensions 27.10" L (x) 13.49" W (x) 17.12" H / Filtration Stages: 1st stage: - 2" Baffled Inertial Impinger, 2nd stage: 2" Aluminum Mesh Filter, 3rd stage: Electrostatic Collection Cell, 4th stage (optional) - HEPA or Post Carbon Filter. Sound Levels: ( 74 dBA @ 3') (70 dBA @ 6') 76 lbs Shipped; 65 lbs Installed.] Efficiency: Up to 97.8% on all submicron particles as measured by independent lab test in accordance with ASHRAE standard 52.2 at 500 CFM. Principles of Operation: Polluted air is drawn through the first stage mechanical mist impingers. These impingers are designed to remove larger mist droplets and particles. The remaining sub-micron mist droplets and particles are removed in the third stage through the process of electrostatic precipitation (ESP). The ESP provides an intense electrical charge on the remaining contaminants through the ionizing field. The collection cell, which works much like a magnet, attracts and removes the charged mist droplets from the airstream. Clean air is returned to the room. Manufactured in the USA.
