The MistBuster 850 captures oil and mist from the air through advanced electrostatic precipitation. Air contaminated with mist and oil from the machine is pulled into the unit, where high-voltage ionizer wires charge the particles. These charged droplets are then drawn to oppositely charged collector plates, removing them from the airflow. The result is cleaner, safer air that can either be recirculated into the workspace or exhausted outside.

Principles of Operation: Polluted air is drawn through the first stage mechanical mist impingers. These impingers are designed to remove larger mist droplets and particles. The remaining sub-micron mist droplets and particles are removed in the third, fourth, and fifth stages through the process of electrostatic precipitation (ESP). The ESP provides an intense electrical charge on the remaining contaminants through the ionizing field.
